Favourite beach is...
To live..Ettalong Beach
To swim..Pearl Beach
But I am a newbie, so I am sure I will find many more than all have their pros and cons.

Favourite beach
We are so lucky to have so many beautiful beaches on the coast. Caves beach is awesome to explore and Soldiers Beach changes dramatically with the tides so is also great to explore. I have to admit, I havn't been to many much further south of here. Maybe that can be a goal for me this summer.

fav beach
Umina beach is an incredible place.its beach stretcches 2.5km. at eastern end you have the Box, which was voted top ten surfing spots in Australia when its "pumping". ive surfed there when its pumping and it was an amazing experience riding a wave for a minute or so.
then you have umina beach and surf club. most time great little waves. sometimes massive hard to beleive.then at western end you have kiddies corner which is a great unique spot for young families. the water can be ankle deep for 100m. just fab spot for little ones.
so trhere you have it. such a diverse beach all rolled into one.the view from surf club of lion island ect. i believe one of finest in world!
